Terms of use

These terms govern the use of USMAN Bot (the “Service”), a Discord bot and web panel that connects a Discord server to a VRChat group. By adding the bot to a server or logging in to the panel, you accept these terms.

1. Purpose

The Service displays and keeps up to date, in Discord, information about a VRChat group (ban list, group logs, moderators, members, instances) and lets authorized moderators act on the group (adding or removing moderators, banning) from Discord.

2. Access to the service

The panel is accessed with your Discord account. You can only configure servers on which you have the “Manage Server” permission.
You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, as well as the VRChat terms.
You must be at least the minimum age required by Discord in your country to use the Service.

3. Rules of use

You may not use the Service to: harass, discriminate against or harm others; ban or sanction people abusively or for unlawful purposes; bypass technical limits or disrupt the Service; attempt to access the data of another server; or engage in any activity contrary to the law. Sanctions decided in a VRChat group are the sole responsibility of its administrators.

4. VRChat accounts

The Service relies on the unofficial VRChat API. VRChat is neither a partner nor a publisher of the Service. We recommend using a dedicated VRChat account for the bot, never your personal account.

You are responsible for the VRChat account you enter and for how it is used; you warrant that you have the right to use it for this purpose.
VRChat may limit or suspend an account that uses its API in an automated way. The operator cannot guarantee that no penalty will be applied and is not liable for it.
The credentials you enter are encrypted at rest (see the privacy policy). You can delete them at any time from the panel.

5. Personal data

How data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

6. Availability

The Service is provided free of charge, with no availability commitment. It may be interrupted for maintenance, if a provider (Discord, VRChat, host) fails, or if their APIs change. Features may change or disappear.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, penalties imposed by Discord or VRChat, or moderation decisions made by users of the Service. This does not limit the rights that the law mandatorily grants you, in particular as a consumer.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server; your settings are then deleted. The operator may suspend the access of a server or a user who breaches these terms or endangers the Service.

9. Changes to the terms

These terms may change. The update date is shown at the top of the page; continuing to use the Service means you accept the new version.
